 What is personal training?  –  Personal training can be so many things depending on the client’s health and fitness goals.  This is what makes it PERSONAL!   
  A client can choose the frequency of the training  sessions per week (5x/ week, 3x/ week, 2x/ week, or 1x/ week)  A client should visit their trainer once every few weeks to make sure they are progressing to their goals and experiencing results.  A client can decide to focus on cardio-conditioning, muscle-conditioning, flexibility, nutrition or a combination of all of these.  Additionally, group personal training can also make achieving fitness goals more enjoyable and motivating.
 
The purpose of a personal trainer –  Personal training incorporates a holistic approach to health and fitness by providing clients with the knowledge, skills, guidance, support, and motivation to attain their goals.
  PT builds effective relationships and establishes a warm, receptive, non-intimidating environment, offering safe and effective exercise programs to clients. Our bodies require regular muscular and cardiovascular work to maintain adequate health. A personal trainer will keep you on track with the appropriate mode and frequency of exercises to help maintain optimum health.

  If, however, you are like most of us who have been surfing years or even decades of diet and fitness crazes, trying to find a final solution that will last you a lifetime, put your surfboard away. You’ve just found it!  Clients need three major elements to succeed: 1) a fitness plan providing continual opportunities to feel successful; 2) a nutrition plan based on scientific fact; and 3) an interactive resource for finding answers to questions, peers with similar goals, and a forum for sharing successes, strategies, and solutions.

  Every personal training program is different.  Each program depends on your goals, physical fitness level, interests, and your individual needs. Scotty D. will design a custom-fit program for you.  A client can decide to focus on cardio-conditioning, muscle-conditioning, flexibility, nutrition or a combination of all of these.  Additionally, group personal training is also available.  RESULTS = SUCCESS = RESULTS = SUCCESS
 
Nutrition and weight loss program - Professional nutritional guidance is crucial to attain optimum nutrition for weight loss.
  Although only a registered dietitian can legally design an individualized menu, a certified Personal Fitness Trainer is knowledgeable in nutritional requirements and experienced in what it takes to truly eat in a healthy manner. Proper nutrition must be incorporated into the fitness path. 
 
 Positive Mental Attitude - As with all aspects of life, finding the perfect balance is not always easy. It's a very personal matter concerning your goals, abilities, schedule, and determination. 
  All of the areas have equal importance to the overall effect on your health and well-being.  Without all the pieces of the puzzle coming together, a number of problems can occur.  For example, you can risk injury, develop deficiencies, or even increase your chances of various diseases.  Positive mental attitude is essential to finding the perfect balance.
