What is personal
training? – Personal training can be so many things
depending on the client’s health and fitness goals. This is what makes
it PERSONAL! |

A client can choose the frequency of the training sessions per week
(5x/ week, 3x/ week, 2x/ week, or 1x/ week) A client should visit their
trainer once every few weeks to make sure they are progressing to their
goals and experiencing results. A client can decide to focus on
cardio-conditioning, muscle-conditioning, flexibility, nutrition or a
combination of all of these. Additionally, group personal training can
also make achieving fitness goals more enjoyable and motivating.

The purpose of a
personal trainer – Personal training incorporates a holistic approach to health and fitness
by providing clients with the knowledge, skills, guidance, support, and
motivation to attain their goals. |

PT builds effective relationships and establishes a warm, receptive,
non-intimidating environment, offering safe and effective
exercise programs to clients. Our bodies require regular muscular and
cardiovascular work to maintain adequate health. A personal trainer will
keep you on track with the appropriate mode and frequency of exercises
to help maintain optimum health. |

Every personal training program is different. Each program depends
on your goals, physical fitness level, interests, and your individual
needs. Scotty D. will design a custom-fit program for you. A client can
decide to focus on cardio-conditioning, muscle-conditioning,
flexibility, nutrition or a combination of all of these. Additionally,

Nutrition and weight
loss program - Professional nutritional guidance is crucial to attain
optimum nutrition for weight loss. |

Although only a registered dietitian can legally design an
individualized menu, a certified Personal Fitness Trainer is
knowledgeable in nutritional requirements and experienced in what it
takes to truly eat in a healthy manner. Proper nutrition must be
incorporated into the fitness path. |

Positive Mental
Attitude - As with all aspects of life,
finding the perfect balance is not always easy. It's a very personal
matter concerning your goals, abilities, schedule, and determination.
